The annual Touch a Truck at Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses in Swansea, MA with Cat Country 98.1.
This Sunday, April 30 from 11am to 2pm featuring Trucks of all shapes & sizes including fire trucks, police cars, the Big Wheels Tow Truck fleet, Tractors and much more – plus bunch of different activities to check out as well!
There is no cost to attend, but they do ask that you bring a donation of a new, un-opened package of children’s socks, underwear, or diapers to help benefit Project Undercover.

Get Gored For Good: 2017 Running of the Bulls
Sunday at 8 AM – 3 PM
Envision running through the streets of Pamplona, adrenaline pumping, the thunder of hooves urging you on. But…you’re in Downcity Providence, and the bulls aren’t two ton steers, they’re the hot-pant clad, horn-bedecked “Rollerbulls”of the Providence Roller Derby, wielding red paintbrushes and looking to “gore” you for good. Designed as one part fun-run, one part street-party, “Get Gored For Good” Providence’s Running of The Bulls” will be 100% spectacle. Come out and Get Gored while raising money to help Amos House provide programs for those in our community who are most in need.
The Autism Project will host the 15th annual Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day for Autism on Sunday, April 30, 2017.
Goddard Park – Warwick:
The Imagine Walk is followed by a Family Fun Day event that features an assortment of free activities designed for children and teens with autism and their families including: a reptile show, obstacle course, bounce house, face painting, arts and crafts, and more… And NEW this year, we will have a sensory tent!
Follow signs to The Autism Project Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day for parking and check in. We’ll be there rain or shine, and we hope you will too!

Yoga with Puppies & Kittens is fundraising event for our neighbors The Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL). We will have a joyful practice with a new litter of puppies (they will be around 7 weeks old at the time of the class) and adorable kittens all in need of a home. Donation is $20 and will go directly to PARL’s Betsy Fund.
Eat Drink RI Festival – Grand Tasting

The Eat Drink RI Festival Grand Tasting features samplings of over sixty locally produced beer, wine & spirits, as well as an abundance of local food artisans in Hall A of the Rhode Island Convention Center. During the Tasting there will be all-new local food & drink presentations on the Frigidaire Professional Presentation Stage sponsored and provided by Wickford Appliance featuring Rhode Island’s top chefs paired with a local producer to wow attendees with some of the best food in the country, all included with admission to the Grand Tasting.
