We’re excited to announce a new sponsor:  FloatRI, located on Post Road in Warwick!

Float RI is an amazing place offering a wide range of services to help you balance your mind, body & soul, including Massage & Reiki, Fitness Classes, Aura Photography, and Floatation Therapy!

Recently we experienced some of their services, including floating which is where you spend either 60 or 90 minutes in a private pod of 850 lbs of epsom salt and 10 inches of water are heated to skin temperature, creating an anti-gravity environment.

Learn more about FloatRI by visiting our website, and of course, we’ll be sharing our experiences in the coming weeks, plus we’ll have some wonderful give-aways as well!

Wicked Rhody is proud to partner with the United Way of Rhode Island, helping to spread the word about wonderful opportunities for you, your family, and your friends can volunteer in and around Rhode Island!

RI CASA, which advocates within the legal system for abused and neglected children, is seeking volunteers to visit with children and report on their well-being while their cases go through court. Volunteers must complete a background check and a 30-hour training program. The next training begins on June 4, 2019 at the Kent County Courthouse. Application deadline: May 30, 2019. If you’re 21 or older, contact cmartone@courts.ri.gov to obtain an application.

Meals on Wheels of RI, which distributes nutritious meals to elderly Rhode Islanders throughout the state, needs volunteers to deliver meals Monday – Friday during lunch hours. Two references are required; training is provided. For more information, contact Ozzie at osilva@rimeals.org.
