Well it looks like STARZ/ Sony and Tall Ship Productions have made good on their claims that they had something in store for us!  It’s the first trailer/ teaser of season 2!  Click “read more” to take a look at what we have coming in spring of 2016

Say what you will about their PR tactics of late, but STARZ hit the nail on the head with this trailer.  It promotes story, leads the viewer to where the main character’s motivations and quite literally picks up where season 1 ended.  And I must say – the music choice of “Dear God” is spot on.

But – will Frank appear in season 2? What about the ever lurking presence of Black Jack Randall? And is that Culloden towards the end? Hmm….

Main takeaway – “You tell me Sassenach, you’re the one from the future.”
Do you think this will change things?  What are you thoughts about the first official trailer of season 2?

  1. Anne Gavin says:

We do catch a glimpse of Black Jack as Jamie is wielding his broadsword in the teaser. But, just a glimpse. It looks like Culloden, it's smells like Culloden, but I think it's Prestonpans 🙂 But, only STARZ knows!

  2. Prestonpans will be soooo fantastic!

  3. I think that's the duel in Paris

  4. Please watch out for spoilers!!!

But . . . I agree. She's further along than one would think.

Wasn't that Murtagh dueling with Jamie in the teaser?

  10. Teaser is right! But well done to make you want to see more. I'm looking forward to the change in scenery to put Claire and Jamie on more equal footing and see the fabulous costumes. But I can't stop thinking about Claire not realizing the paradox and what trying to change the future means. (non-book reader here, so no spoilers!) After all, like Miles Straume said, "What happened, HAPPENED." (That was for you, Blake!)
