I have only started to listen to your podcast this season but I’m already such a huge fan. I love your personal ties with the show and how it connects with your own story. My Grandma just died two weeks ago after a rough battle with dementia. I just appreciate This is Us for shedding a light on the kind of toll and special bond you have with someone who has special needs. My heart just goes out to Mary with your sister and brother. I just really love how they are tying up the Big 3’s storylines. THey are all really going full circle and they all have become the best version of themselves. They are finally healthy as was proven with that handshake and Kate firmly giving her final say. They made the best decision possible as the Big 3 and a part of a much bigger family. It’s just so well done. As far as Malik possibly not playing a bigger role, I know this might happen but I just feel like all these minor moments and characters somehow put this family exactly where they need to be now so maybe that’s his role. Also sorry if this is rude but Blake’s accent is pretty standard and straightforward American english but every now and then he has such a Northern almost Bostonian way he ends a sentence like when he says bar and it is the sexiest thing I have ever heard. It always just makes me flushed when I hear it randomly . That is all. You guys are great and I think it’s going to be so cool when you listen back years form now and hear your convos with your own kids. It’s cool to hear and kind of reminds me of This Is Us. Life imitates art and all that.
