Caitriona has won Yareah magazine poll for her portrayal of Claire for most romantic heroine. She was up against Eleanor Tomlinson who plays Demelza Poldark in the Poldark TV series. About 3,600 people voted and Cait won 66% of the votes by 2,387 fans.

“I think every credit you get and every film you have your name attached to makes things a little bit easier. It definitely opens doors up, but it’s still a grind. “says Caitriona. “Modelling wasn’t a passion of mine, so that made it get old kind of quickly. I was getting very frustrated.”

Poldark is a british drama television series that was broadcast on the BBC in the UK.

I think Caitriona plays a great romantic role but also has some great action sequences like when Jamie and Claire jump off the roof of Fort William in episode 9 of season 1.
