Hi Mary & Blake, I recently found & started listening to your podcasts, starting with Bridgerton which I loved! Now I am listening to This is us too. I wanted to share my story about this podcast that related to me as it related to you Mary, during you’re “in or out” portion. You mentioned about the movie the Notebook that you were out because you had broken up with a boyfriend at the time and it was a hard movie to watch. I had watched this movie and unbeknownst to me had no idea what it was about. My parents died within hours of each other, neither one of them knew the other had passed because they were not coherent, which is bittersweet in a way. The thing is my mom was very sick my father wasn’t sick at all. He died, I’m convinced, of a broken heart and we had a double funeral. Needless to say I am extremely out when it comes to that movie, I could never watch it again let alone even see it in the TV guide. It just makes me cry. I just wanted to share that story, also I love your podcasts you guys are great together and I will continue listening. Thank you so much sincerely, Kathy.
