Wicked Nice
Wicked Rhody is proud to partner with the United Way of Rhode Island, helping to spread the word about wonderful opportunities for you, your family, and your friends can volunteer in and around Rhode Island!
United Way of Rhode Island (Providence) — National Family Volunteer Day
Join UWRI at 50 Valley Street on Saturday, November 23, to make literacy kits for local children. Bring a K-3 children’s book and use your imagination to create props based on the story. Sessions: 9 – 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. To register, contact Janice at janice.pothierpac@uwri.org.
The Providence Village — Household Chores Volunteers
The Providence Village is seeking volunteers to help aging Rhode Islanders with simple home repairs such as changing screens, replacing lightbulbs, and hanging pictures. Interested? Contact Eliza at member.services@providencevillageri.org.
