Roger Wakefield is due to appear in a couple of key episodes in season 2 of Outlander. Last time Roger was seen was in episode 8 of season 1 as a small boy and adoptive son of Reverend Wakefield.

We have very little to go on at this point in regards to context, as the only confirmation of Roger appearing was this Tweet from Ron Moore:

Diana also confirmed on her Facebook page (on Dec 2) that both Bree and Roger would appear in season 2. My guess is that they'll be there but have very little screen time.

I am ALL IN for Richard Rankin to be Roger. In fact, I'll have a serious case of S2 PTSD if he isn't cast!! #RichardIsRoger
Very last scene of Season 2. Cliff hanger. The two at his door. Swapping the DIA opening for the ending before Voyager. Unless Ron's comment of 5B somehow is indicating episode 5B… But no casting announcements and filming almost complete? Doesn't make sense that it could be more than a scene that they film at the last minute.
Has anyone specified whether they will appear as adults in season two? We've known since comic con in July that wee Roger makes an appearance in season two,so that isn't news.
There is no one as perfect for the role of adult Roger as Richard Rankin. Tall, handsome, Scottish…and sings like a thrush. #RichardisRoger
