My first and foremost job title is that of mom to my two grown daughters, but I’ve also worked as an aerospace engineer on the Space Shuttle program, website developer, artist, preschool teacher, and most recently as a personal chef and blogger.

My fascination with cooking and baking came through my love of science and the magic of bringing together disparate ingredients that produce something yummy. My obsession with all things Outlander began as season one ended and sent me down paths I could never have imagined, from declaring myself an honorary Scot to building Scotch & Scones, a blog devoted to baking stories and whisky reviews.

Tammy’s Outlander Cast work brings that same joy to the page. Her “How They Made It” series turns the food, drink, and domestic texture of the show into something readers can actually make, taste, and share.
