Andrée Poppleton
Andrée Poppleton is a 60-ish Australian woman, an occupational therapist by trade, with many years working in the field of mental health. She is also a mother of two adult daughters, a creator of messy wild gardens, and one of the most distinctive voices in the Outlander Cast archive when it comes to behind-the-scenes reporting and fan experience.
Like so many Outlander fans, Andrée’s life changed when she found the show. She watched season one over the holidays in December 2015, tore through the books, and then felt drawn all the way to Scotland. A 2016 month-long trip deepened that connection, including watching season three filming and forming close ties with fellow fans through the New Glasgow Girls.
Her work for Outlander Cast lives at the intersection of fandom, travel, production detail, and emotional reflection. Whether she is chasing filming locations, documenting conventions, interviewing supporting players, or unpacking the mood of an episode, Andrée brings curiosity, warmth, and a sharp eye for the world around the show.
